"AGAR TUM SAATH HO!!"

“Pal bhar thahar jaao, Dil ye sambhal jaaye

Kaise tumhe roka karun, Meri taraf aata har gham phisal jaaye

Aankhon mein tum ko bharun, Bin bole baatein tumse karun

'Gar tum saath ho..Agar tum saath ho”

She kept playing this song again and again….But, what was she upto? A break up, a break up in which she thought even he had a liking towards him, a break up in which she thought even he was about to confess his feelings, a break up in which she thought even he was feeling the same as she was, a break up in which she thought even he wants to live with her in ‘their’ future, a break up in which she thought even they would make a cute pair and a break up in which she thought he would go on his knees to make her his forever… And what he did? He only reacted as per his mood swings, he only behaved as he wanted, and he only did what he wanted…But, what about her? She only wanted him to hold her hand and rest she knew she would be always there for him.  What was going there on his mind? Why was it getting so difficult for her to describe him? Why is the feeling of love so hard? Why? May be, she loved the stars so fondly that she forgot that those stars are covered in nights. May be, she loved every part of his inferiors so fondly that she forgot that she too had an inferior. And it was her only love for him that gave her courage to confess him what she had about him. But, knowing that he is dating someone, her world stopped right there, smiling beautifully by clearing her tears and making her heart ‘stronger’ saying that ‘If he is happy, so shall I’….May be it was an end of her ‘dreamed courtship’, but somewhere, she ended the incomplete story forever.

You know sometimes it’s not just your fate to live together, no matter how much you love the person, no matter how much feelings you had for him/her and no matter how much you have dreamt of him/her…there is surely a impressionist universe named ‘destiny’ which will play the way it wants to…Caste difference, family problems or societal discrimination, no matter what you have to go through. But, there is a simple word called ‘LOVE’ which no one can take away from you. And it’s perfectly okay to love  each other even after knowing that you two cannot be united. It’s perfectly okay to love even after knowing that the world would create boundaries. It’s perfectly okay to love even after knowing that the person won’t love you back in the same way you loved. It’s just perfectly okay to end up together even after knowing that you won’t be together….

Good morning people!

Hi! Past days, I couldn't post anything due to some reasons. Anyways, let me ask you something today...

Boys: My question for you is:

Have you seen your girl standing beautifully and decorating your place with those glittering chandeliers? Have you seen your girl making colorful #Rangolis and even coloring you in different colors? Have you seen her making faces when someone spoils her #Rangoli art and she throwing looks at you? Have you seen her making #Ladoos and reserving one, especially for you? Have you seen her biting her lower lip in confusion when she forgets to add extra oil in the #Diyas? Have you seen her looking at the wall watch and adoring the best muhurat for #Laxmi Puja? Have you seen her taking a sign of relief when she sees to it that all the #Diwali preparations are done well in advance? Have you seen her walking with a blush in front of you in the golden embroidered lehenga and back deep blouse gifted by her mother-in-law for her first Diwali? Have you seen her blushing when your friends have gathered at your place and teasing her for your #Gift? Have you seen her behaving like a child when she lights up her first #Fuljhadi with grace? Have you seen her poise when she makes calls and wishing all your relatives  #A VERY HAPPY DIWALI? Have you seen her hopping like a frog when she lights those #Chinese lanters? Have you seen her praying soulfully for you and doing all those #Diwali rituals with enthusiasm? Have you seen her wining every heart of your elders with #Respect and grace? Have you seen her getting red when she takes selfies with you and posting #MY FIRST DIWALI WITH MY HUBBY? Have you seen her this Diwali?????.....Have you?????

DONATION ‘FASHION’ BHAGWAN KE GHAR!

Allah, Ram, Lord, Waheguru and what not. It does not matter what we call him, or how do we address him, but we all have that same purpose, to recite him and remember him who created us. One god, and names many!

Temples, masjids, churches and Gurudwaras, they are all same. You will find half of our population friendshiping  god on Thursdays. Appointments are already reserved well in advanced. And donations, well what can I say? It puts a big question mark on my face looking at the fact that each and every temple in this world is the richest one. In India, the top affluent temples like: Tirupati temple,  , Shirdi temple, Shrinathji Temple in Rajasthan's Nathdwara , Kashi vishwanathan temple and many others have already been in limelight for their royal treasures and donations. Their religious bodies have opened demat accounts and the reason behind this is that these religious trusts find it tedious to get physical shares dropped in donation boxes transferred to their names.

DONATION ‘FASHION’ trending the world:

The donations given in these temples per day counts to 10 Crore rupees. This amount is so huge that even god finds it difficult to use it in endless ways. In what ways can he be spending such a huge amount? Will he invest in shopping? Will he invest in gaining properties? Will he give loans to his other collages? Or will he preserve this for his future generations?  When I see those heavy donation boxes, I really keep wondering what he must be doing with those hefty sums. Ok, let’s consider that even if 2/3rd of its amount is spent in the temple’s makeover, 2/3rd of its remaining amount is used for the trust’s welfare, again 2/3rd of the remaining amount is used for providing salaries to the pujaris and the working staff, but still a huge amount of money is still counted in the leftover donations. If we compare all the annual incomes of the richest Honchos in the world and collectively add them, we still cannot make out the richest sharings as ‘GOD’ alone has it on his own terms.

What ‘Awareness aromas’ wants to convey?

Donation or offerings to ‘God’ has always been considered as a part of our believes and spiritual connections. But, god never said this that please keep my pockets well reserved in advance because I want to shop or because I want to invest in shares or because I want to purchase a newly furnished bungalow. God never says this.

Infact, he only says that ‘Offer help to the needies, fed the empty stomachs, try to literate the uneducated, provide shed to the homeless and pray for the orphans’…Well, we as a common individual are always interested in providing offerings to the god when our wishes come true. So, instead of donations why don’t we pray god that ‘Yes, if my wishes come true, I’ll surely feed 10 people from the orphange’. Make such things as your habit. I really don’t want to question your beliefs but still would say that ‘Instead of spending your donations in religious trusts and organisations, you should think that a small part your donation to the needy ones can create a big difference to their lives.’

Tu mera ‘Nutella’ hai!

Friendship….A relation so pure and a relation so pious….Well, here is the story I would like to share with you all.

‘Friends?’ A smile wrapped her lips while she extended her hand to him.

‘Yes sure. Why not?’ he replied.

And this was how everything started. A bond that makes us feel guaranteed, a bond that grows with each passing day, a bond that is far behind those tales and sagas, a bond which is sometimes too salty and sometimes too sweet, a bond where no explanations are required, a bond that has only two pure hearts seeking happiness, a bond that is free from advices and restrictions, a bond where you treasure not only your happiness but also anxieties….Yes, it’s a bond called ‘Friendship’, where one can walk even in the darkness holding other’s hand….

Well, people say “A girl and a boy cannot be just friends”, but this so-called-societal-tag was simply useless for Aashi and Yuvi. Just because someone had seen them together, doesn’t mean they are love birds. Can’t a boy and a girl be best friends for each other? Is this bond only needs to seen through a rose colored perspective? Why to always think about the people who have no issues just to peep in other’s lives and say flushy stuffs for all?? This society always has problems with the well-being of two individuals who care for each other. People before poking at someone’s lives, it is you who should take a walk through your past deeds. At least we don’t flirt around to date multiples. Yes, there can be many of us who does this, but that doesn’t mean we are one of them. So, better be aware before you poke in different shades, you yourself should be well versed with the color that you carry…..

Aashi, the prettiest girl doing her masters and Yuvi, he was a cool dude seeking job in MNC. What went wrong in their relation was that people took them wrong and this indeed was the reason of ending the ‘ sweet bond’ which they had……

‘Aashi, Aashi, sun na please’ A restless Yuvi followed her as she went downstairs in her very aggressive mood.

‘Tu jaa yaha se. I don’t want to listen anything’, she started crying. And this was something Yuvi didn’t wanted. Because it was Aashi who taught him to smile, to see the sunrise and to see everything with peace and calmness.

‘ Nutella, yaar please sun na’, Yuvi said running behind her.

Nutella was something, he use to call her because she was as sweet that Nutella melted sweet chocolate. And saying this, her anger immediately melted in seconds and she made a puppy face at him.
‘Chal na, let’s talk’ Yuvi uttered in innocence. She stopped and both of them went to the sip the coffee which was ordered. Yuvi knew the flood in Aashi’s eyes would turn to a Tsunami, if he wouldn’t stop her. So, he quietly sat on the chair and made Aashi to drink the coffee. She was now calm for few minutes and then Yuvi in his relaxed state too started sipping the coffee.

‘I hate you Yuvi. I really hate you’ she sniffed.

‘Ab maine kya kiyaa yaar?’ he asked in the puzzled manner.

‘Tuzhe yaad nahi tha na mera birthday?  Tu bhul gaya thaa na?’ she hit him hard with her angry look.

‘Nahi na re. I wanted to surprise you today. So, isiliye didn’t wish you’ he in his casual look.

‘ Haa na? So, tell me where is my surprise?’ she grew stronger.

‘Ahhhh…woh? It must be somewhere here’ he muted chewing his lips.

‘Shutup Yuvi. Tu bhool gaya tha. And by the way, mera birthday aaj nahi  kal tha’ she in her aggressive notion.

‘Ha wahi toh! I was thinking only this that why ain’t you looking fresh today’ he replied teasing her.

‘Urghhhhh….bus ab bohot hua. I am really angry this time. I am leaving, sadte rah akele, bye’ she pulled her bag and started leaving.

‘Oh Ma, sunn na please. Sun na please. Accha yeh le tera gift. And sorry yaar, insaan se hi galti hoti hai na. Next time pakka tuzhe tere birthday ke din hi wish karunga. I am sorry’ he held his ears and apologized her for his mistake.

Looking at the gift, her anger melted in seconds and  her cute puppy face was back to normal ‘Awww…thank you for this Yuvi. It’s okay! I forgive you. Par next time se aissa kiyya na, then see what I’ll do’ she giggled brightly.

‘Chale ab Nutella? We are getting late’ he asked her and she pinched him saying ‘Chal. And coffee ka bill tu pay karega. After all tu mera birthday bhul gaya’…..

Because we all have that one special friend with whom we cannot frame the word ‘LOVE’. It’s really far above this…This is that relation, when one is anger while the other is ready to melt the anger in seconds. Friendship is that sweetest Nutella which can melt even those rigid mentalities in seconds. Friendship cannot be defined in one shade; it has many shades which cannot be worn in a single day. So, why to destroy it only for the sake of those stupid mentalities who cannot understand you? Leave those who cannot understand what your relation is all about…Just giving your space and time will make the things free. Have patience and simply lead on because such friends are hard to find!

PS: Boys do always forget birthdays!! Cheers!!

Amcha bappanna manacha mujra ?

Idol workship in India has been in practice since many years. Worshipping idols is what makes India a culturally diverse country. People from across the countries, especially visit India during the time of Ganpati visarjan because they actually find our country ‘the powerhouse of different cultures amalgamating into one’. Like for example, we surely don’t believe in castes and races when we celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi. And today when it comes to ‘SARVAJANIK’ mandals, we surely enjoy those 10 days of happiness and excitements. Now, the time has come when Ganpati visarjan will be  encouraged. Because this is the trend that we have in India. Installing idols and then immersing them in ponds, lakes, rivers, wells and seas.
Last year, when we had our idol immersed in a lake, my eyes caught attention to few youngsters from America, who had visited the city only for this bright fest. They were happy to meet our cultures, our people and also our celebrations. But, when they saw those huge Ganpati idols immersing in the water, they were very frustrating looking at the water which got polluted. And this left a bad remark on our city. The next day, the newspapers had the dead images of ganpati visarjan. Dead images of various idols lying dead to the brim of the water. You see there is a big difference when we worship those happy idols and the day after visarjan you see them dying in the water…
Every year, approximately 2.5 Lakh Ganesh idols are immersed in water. Due to this, the oxygen level of the water drops by 70%, which itself leaves a poor impression on how that water should be used for drinking. So, here is the checklist that should be taken care of while immersing your idols.
  • For tiny idols installed at your places, encourage water bucket challenges so that the clay dissolved water can be used for plants.
  • For heavy idols, materials like vastras, flowers, decorating materials should be removed before immersing your idols in ponds, rivers or seas.
  • Yes, of course, there are artificial (or synthetic)  liners installed in every place, but it's our responsibility to install our POP idols in them so that they can be reused the next year.
  • Temporary ponds are in fashion these days. So what can be the best option then to immerse those idols in them?
  • Immediately after immersion of large idols, the idols don’t get dissolved in the water bodies because of the artificial sprays and the chemicals that are used in it. So, it should be our responsibility to opt for eco-friendly components the very net year.
  • For immersion of large idols in the seas, the mandap adhikaris should see to it that they immerse those idols in between the high - tide and low-tide, so that the idols get immersed instantly and there are less chances of water pollution in it.
  • Sledges which carry the loads of all the idols don’t get immersed in water because they are made from wood. So, its our prime duty to, immediately remove all those components within 48 hours of the idol immersion.
  • If we people celebrate 10 days of Ganesh Chaturthi, can’t we give an additional day off and clean the toxin which has been done by us? Just imagine, 11 days of Ganesh Chaturthi will not only prevent dislodging of water but will give us an additional day to celebrate this fest with great enthusiasm and zeal. After all, it’s the part of ‘Swach Bharat abhiyan’.
  • Yes of course, mass awareness banners are in boon during idol immersion days, but can’t the same be provoked before a month when we place the order for our idols before murtikars and artists?
  • Many foundations have been giving their strong support for the eco-friendly visarjans, but when it comes to manage the visarjan of such lakhs of ganpati idols, there are surely management issues and to supervise such things, there is surely a need for thousands of cleanliness bodies.
  • Idols which have been immersed in water should be removed within 48 hours of immersion, so that the water gets spruced up for another idol immersion. Else, it becomes completely occupied and the idols are left partially immersed.
  • And from net year, it should be our responsibility to install small idols at our places.

Well, if we the people cannot reduce water pollution, then we ourselves have got no right to pollute it with so many toxic substances.  Lokmanya Tilak’s main motive in celebrating  Ganesh Chaturthi was to  bring  people together and celebrate the freedom of independence, but can’t we add one more objective to this and promote ‘Healthy and pollution free celebration?’
Those idols that are worshiped for 10 days and then check them out after they are partially immersed in water. This makes such a big difference in the actual scenario. Well, you see them lying in the dead conditions and how can that be a part of our celebration? It is therefore essential to celebrate this festival considering the environmental  prevention and action. For this blog, I surely doubt ‘Is it a manacha mujra?’

Kya kabhi savera, Laata hai andhera? 3

After a minute silence, she was back in her own world.

‘Dhriti, Dhriti, you there?’ Adved cried in pain.

‘Yes Adved. Please come soon. I need you now’, saying this, she hanged.

Adved tried calling her, but she was unresponsive. So, he decided to take the next flight and reach her asap.

Upon reaching the hospital, he saw her sleeping on the bed and he started observing her sleeping like a cute child. Looking at her, he was dead seeing her die like this. So, immediately he consulted his team of doctors from Delhi. Then he met Ankita, she was also depressed to see Dhriti like this. After some time, when Dhriti saw Adved standing near her bed, she held his hand and said ‘I love you Adved. Promise me that you will re- marry after I go’.
‘Shuhhhh Dhriti! I am not marrying anyone, when I am not letting you go’ he replied holding her close to his heart.

‘But Adved……’ and she broke completely in tears. He took broke down and he hugged her very tightly.

A silence of few seconds even left those doctors mum.

‘Baby, these are the experts from Delhi. They are here to treat you’ Adved replied wiping those tears of hers.

‘Hummm Adved….thank you for being there with me always. Now I can die very peacefully’ she replied kissing his fist. and he started observing her sleeping like a cute child.
‘You are not dying because I want to re-marry with the same Lady of my life. I’ll wait for you till the end of my life and I am sure even god will take care of my wish’ he made her comfortable by saying this.

‘Mr. Adved! We shall take Dhriti for the operation now’ a doctor interrupted them.

‘Yes Doctor. Wait a minute’ he said and kissed her on her forehead. She without giving a thought nodded him with a smile and hugged him lastly.

She was taken to the operation theater and here, Adved was waiting praying for her well being with tears in his eyes…..
After 7 hours, the doctors got back to him and said ‘Mr. Adved, we tried our best. Your prayers have given all the answers and I am happy to say that she has recovered from her cancer’.
Hearing this, his face had that sigh of relief. He cried, cried out louder. And smile couldn’t leave his face.

‘Doctors can I meet her?’ he asked with tears.

‘No Mr. Adved. It will take at least few hours for her to get back to her senses. But after that you can surely meet her’ doctors advised.
Adved brought her back to his place and said ‘Baby, can you marry me?’

‘It seems an offer I can’t reject’ she said smiling at him.

‘See, I told you na that I ain’t letting you go’ he said dressing her.

‘Yes and your confidence gave me strength while I was taken to the operation theatre. I knew your confidence will win my battle’ she said holding him tightly around his chest.

‘Kya kabhi savera, Laata hai andhera!’ he answered her hugging her tightly.

She just smiled and was ready to marry him again…

You know, we all have that one person in our lives that do stands as an example for the world. Even after crossing so many hurdles, they are still together holding and catching each other. Well, this story was a request from one of our readers to let the world know what all they have been through. Yes we are sorry that we didn’t place anything on ‘FRIENDSHIP’S DAY’. But, we really meant that this story was far essential than anything else, after all it was a request…. Ankita (name changed), let us know, if we did justice in binding those words with our imagination…And last but not the least, surely you will get things very differently from the next week.

Kya kabhi savera, Laata hai andhera? 2

Dhriti’s packing was almost over and she was getting herself showered. Soon after this, when she got ready in her casual wear; she decided to inform Adved that she will be leaving very soon. But as she was about to hold her cellphone, a sudden abdominal pain started creating complications. She lay down for few minutes, but the pain was unbearable. Whom would she call, as there was no one to aid her? So, she decided to call her friend Ankita and asked her to take her to the hospital. Ankita soon arrived and took her to the hospital. While Adved was trying hard to call Dhriti, but the phone was out of reach. Doctor was clear about her disease and so he again performed few tests on her. The reports were surely negative and soon the doctor decided to convey this to Adved.   Meanwhile, here Adved was getting worried for his wife and the lines of concerns were surely seen on his face.
‘Hello Yes Mr Adved!’ doctor said upon making a call to Adved.

‘Yes Dr. Pritam. It’s Adved here. Is everything well Dr?’ he replied.

‘Actually Adved, Dhriti is admitted here. She was complaining of her abdominal pain. So, Ms.Ankita took her to the hospital. And Adved I’ve called you to inform you that it is Dhriti’s last stage of cancer, we will have to soon perform a surgery on her now, else…..’ saying this, the Dr paused.

‘What? I’m coming soon Dr. But promise me, that you won’t utter a single word about this to Dhriti. Please, it’s a request Dr’ he was shivering in pain now.

‘Yes Sure. As you say’ the doctor replied and they hung.

while, here Adved was getting worried for his wife and the lines of concerns were surely seen on his face.
‘It’s just a minor surgery Dhriti. Will let you know when I’ll be there. I’m coming today Sweetheart. Till then take good care of yourself and so as doctors say. Please’ he answered with a very low voice.

And saying this, he broke in tears. He couldn’t escape more from letting Dhriti know about her disease. He couldn’t escape from his own feelings that her cancer has reached the final stage. He couldn’t escape from his own world. He couldn’t escape of those beautiful moments that he shared with her. He couldn’t escape from her beautiful smile. He couldn’t escape from letting her go now….He wished, if god had planned to take her, he could take him too because he cannot live without his girl now…Moreover, he couldn’t escape of anything…He was dying to see her now. But she, she was still on her call and could sense Adved’s killing silence…

‘Adved, what has happened baby? Is something not right with me? Please tell me Adved. Please’ she was soft spoken this time.

Adved upon hearing her so calmly had no option then to break in tears. He wanted to hug her, kiss her and hold her forever….but now, destiny had something else planned. You know, just sometimes in our lives, love doesn’t die due to tears or pain, but it dies due to the fear of losing someone very special….

Upon a silence of minute, he made an effort to tell her…
‘Dhriti, actually I’m sorry that being a husband, I couldn’t take care of all our 7 wedding promises which we had taken together’ replying this, he busted out in tears completely.

‘No Adved. I couldn’t get someone far better than you. Your all those 7 promises illuminated my world very warmly. And even if there is something not right with me, I can see you right to me’ saying this, a lone tear passed her eyes.

‘Thank you Dhriti. But, here is something I have hidden a thing from you. Dhriti…ahh…’ saying this, his voice was choked.

‘Yes Adved…..’ she answered him back wiping her face.

‘Dhriti….I’m really sorry and I know you won’t forgive me for this, but baby, you are suffering from ovarian cancer’ his answer now had meaning……….

Dhriti was taken aback; taken aback by the words’ OVARIAN CANCER’.  She was now dead with words and couldn’t make it….

‘Hello, hello Dhriti, you there’ Adved upon feeling her silence, wanted to check her…But for Dhriti, it was an end, an end that was to dawn her, an end that had only darkness and an end where she will be seen no more tomorrow….

NEXT PART, COMING SOON!

Kya kabhi savera, Laata hai andhera?

It was the very first rain of the season. Those tiny water droplets dancing from the heaven made her very excited. Dhriti being a simple girl was adorning the glimpse of the rain and was smiling at those falling water droplets. She was thinking of someone whom she loved far beyond her own world. She stepped out of her bedroom and stood on the terrace feeling the cold water running over her body. She could feel its calmness soothing her inner soul. The thought of Adved, made her to quickly dial his number. But, since he had his meeting, so he couldn’t receive. Dhriti then thought of posting her pictures on his whtsapp and he without a second, texted her back.
‘Baap re! Someone’s getting drenched’ he texted her with a blushing emoji.

‘I actually wanted you too. But you are as usual busy with your work’ she replied within a minute.

‘Yes Sweety! But you know na, I don’t like rains. And you are fine na?’ he texted her back.

‘Yeah  I’m fine! It’s very beautifully raining here. Come let’s have a rain dance’ she insisted in her sugar filled voice.

‘No Dhriti. You are not going to get wet again okay? My baby, I know you love rain, but you na how cough and cold strongly abide you. And I cannot see you sneezing and coughing all night. And did you had your lunch and what about your medicines?’ he replied in his never failed attitude to protect her and care for her in whatever situation she was.

‘ Yes, I had them. But why do you always keep on asking me about medicines? I don’t like them. Leave all this, when are you returning?’ she questioned him with the feeling of missing him.

‘I’ll be back within two days. Till then, do take care of yourself. Yes, I know you are asking this to know whether I had collected all your shopping stuffs or not. So, madam I’ve already carried those never ending shopping bags for you’ he giggled while texting her.

‘Yeah yeah, I know that. But more than my shopping stuff, I’m missing you. Please be back soon na. Please’ she stressed on her words as she desperately wanted him.

‘Yes my baby. Meanwhile, why don’t you visit your mother in Mumbai? It’s been 6 months you haven’t visited them. Even they’ll be happy to see you’ he responded her with a quiet smile.

‘Yes Adved. You are right. I’ll  meet them. Please make arrangements for my flight Mr’ she was glad that he said this and she again fell in love with him.

‘Yes my baby! Surely will do that. But do take care of yourself and please let me know about your whereabouts. Anyways see you soon Mrs. Adved. But, please tell me are you fine na?’ he texted her with a loving expression.

Yes I am fine. Why are you asking this question repeatedly Adved? Anything wrong? she replied him back.

‘No everything is perfect. Love you my princess. Will call you after my meeting gets over’ he replied with a smile.

There is something Adved is worried it…  Dhriti could sense this. But she didn’t show her actual expressions and she decided to start her packing.

For Dhriti, it was very tough to even imagine that she will have a fairytale wedding with someone who loved her far beyond the world. Adved hailed from a middle class background but his educational skills made him reach heights. Adved was worried for Dhriti not because she was his wife, but because she had an ovarian cancer and was undergoing treatment. Adved came to know about her disease just few months ago after their 1 year of marriage anniversary. But, he didn’t tell her about this. He only told her that there are some pregnancy related issues and that was the main reason she is undergoing treatment. But, Dhriti knew there is something Adved was hiding from her. Actually, Adved was not out for a meeting conference, in fact he was in Delhi to discuss her reports with the top most surgeons of India. He was ready to do anything for her knowing that she was his life whom god cannot set apart. The fear of death and separation was killing Adved from inside. He was in parts because Dhriti is suffering, torn up because her cancer stage has reached the secondary phase, torn up because she was his life and torn up because god cannot take her away from him. It was Dhriti who was suffering, but the wounds could be seen on Adved’s face. He decided to give her every possible treatment but……..
