DONATION ‘FASHION’ BHAGWAN KE GHAR!

Allah, Ram, Lord, Waheguru and what not. It does not matter what we call him, or how do we address him, but we all have that same purpose, to recite him and remember him who created us. One god, and names many!

Temples, masjids, churches and Gurudwaras, they are all same. You will find half of our population friendshiping  god on Thursdays. Appointments are already reserved well in advanced. And donations, well what can I say? It puts a big question mark on my face looking at the fact that each and every temple in this world is the richest one. In India, the top affluent temples like: Tirupati temple,  , Shirdi temple, Shrinathji Temple in Rajasthan's Nathdwara , Kashi vishwanathan temple and many others have already been in limelight for their royal treasures and donations. Their religious bodies have opened demat accounts and the reason behind this is that these religious trusts find it tedious to get physical shares dropped in donation boxes transferred to their names.

DONATION ‘FASHION’ trending the world:

The donations given in these temples per day counts to 10 Crore rupees. This amount is so huge that even god finds it difficult to use it in endless ways. In what ways can he be spending such a huge amount? Will he invest in shopping? Will he invest in gaining properties? Will he give loans to his other collages? Or will he preserve this for his future generations?  When I see those heavy donation boxes, I really keep wondering what he must be doing with those hefty sums. Ok, let’s consider that even if 2/3rd of its amount is spent in the temple’s makeover, 2/3rd of its remaining amount is used for the trust’s welfare, again 2/3rd of the remaining amount is used for providing salaries to the pujaris and the working staff, but still a huge amount of money is still counted in the leftover donations. If we compare all the annual incomes of the richest Honchos in the world and collectively add them, we still cannot make out the richest sharings as ‘GOD’ alone has it on his own terms.

What ‘Awareness aromas’ wants to convey?

Donation or offerings to ‘God’ has always been considered as a part of our believes and spiritual connections. But, god never said this that please keep my pockets well reserved in advance because I want to shop or because I want to invest in shares or because I want to purchase a newly furnished bungalow. God never says this.

Infact, he only says that ‘Offer help to the needies, fed the empty stomachs, try to literate the uneducated, provide shed to the homeless and pray for the orphans’…Well, we as a common individual are always interested in providing offerings to the god when our wishes come true. So, instead of donations why don’t we pray god that ‘Yes, if my wishes come true, I’ll surely feed 10 people from the orphange’. Make such things as your habit. I really don’t want to question your beliefs but still would say that ‘Instead of spending your donations in religious trusts and organisations, you should think that a small part your donation to the needy ones can create a big difference to their lives.’

Tu mera ‘Nutella’ hai!

Friendship….A relation so pure and a relation so pious….Well, here is the story I would like to share with you all.

‘Friends?’ A smile wrapped her lips while she extended her hand to him.

‘Yes sure. Why not?’ he replied.

And this was how everything started. A bond that makes us feel guaranteed, a bond that grows with each passing day, a bond that is far behind those tales and sagas, a bond which is sometimes too salty and sometimes too sweet, a bond where no explanations are required, a bond that has only two pure hearts seeking happiness, a bond that is free from advices and restrictions, a bond where you treasure not only your happiness but also anxieties….Yes, it’s a bond called ‘Friendship’, where one can walk even in the darkness holding other’s hand….

Well, people say “A girl and a boy cannot be just friends”, but this so-called-societal-tag was simply useless for Aashi and Yuvi. Just because someone had seen them together, doesn’t mean they are love birds. Can’t a boy and a girl be best friends for each other? Is this bond only needs to seen through a rose colored perspective? Why to always think about the people who have no issues just to peep in other’s lives and say flushy stuffs for all?? This society always has problems with the well-being of two individuals who care for each other. People before poking at someone’s lives, it is you who should take a walk through your past deeds. At least we don’t flirt around to date multiples. Yes, there can be many of us who does this, but that doesn’t mean we are one of them. So, better be aware before you poke in different shades, you yourself should be well versed with the color that you carry…..

Aashi, the prettiest girl doing her masters and Yuvi, he was a cool dude seeking job in MNC. What went wrong in their relation was that people took them wrong and this indeed was the reason of ending the ‘ sweet bond’ which they had……

‘Aashi, Aashi, sun na please’ A restless Yuvi followed her as she went downstairs in her very aggressive mood.

‘Tu jaa yaha se. I don’t want to listen anything’, she started crying. And this was something Yuvi didn’t wanted. Because it was Aashi who taught him to smile, to see the sunrise and to see everything with peace and calmness.

‘ Nutella, yaar please sun na’, Yuvi said running behind her.

Nutella was something, he use to call her because she was as sweet that Nutella melted sweet chocolate. And saying this, her anger immediately melted in seconds and she made a puppy face at him.
‘Chal na, let’s talk’ Yuvi uttered in innocence. She stopped and both of them went to the sip the coffee which was ordered. Yuvi knew the flood in Aashi’s eyes would turn to a Tsunami, if he wouldn’t stop her. So, he quietly sat on the chair and made Aashi to drink the coffee. She was now calm for few minutes and then Yuvi in his relaxed state too started sipping the coffee.

‘I hate you Yuvi. I really hate you’ she sniffed.

‘Ab maine kya kiyaa yaar?’ he asked in the puzzled manner.

‘Tuzhe yaad nahi tha na mera birthday?  Tu bhul gaya thaa na?’ she hit him hard with her angry look.

‘Nahi na re. I wanted to surprise you today. So, isiliye didn’t wish you’ he in his casual look.

‘ Haa na? So, tell me where is my surprise?’ she grew stronger.

‘Ahhhh…woh? It must be somewhere here’ he muted chewing his lips.

‘Shutup Yuvi. Tu bhool gaya tha. And by the way, mera birthday aaj nahi  kal tha’ she in her aggressive notion.

‘Ha wahi toh! I was thinking only this that why ain’t you looking fresh today’ he replied teasing her.

‘Urghhhhh….bus ab bohot hua. I am really angry this time. I am leaving, sadte rah akele, bye’ she pulled her bag and started leaving.

‘Oh Ma, sunn na please. Sun na please. Accha yeh le tera gift. And sorry yaar, insaan se hi galti hoti hai na. Next time pakka tuzhe tere birthday ke din hi wish karunga. I am sorry’ he held his ears and apologized her for his mistake.

Looking at the gift, her anger melted in seconds and  her cute puppy face was back to normal ‘Awww…thank you for this Yuvi. It’s okay! I forgive you. Par next time se aissa kiyya na, then see what I’ll do’ she giggled brightly.

‘Chale ab Nutella? We are getting late’ he asked her and she pinched him saying ‘Chal. And coffee ka bill tu pay karega. After all tu mera birthday bhul gaya’…..

Because we all have that one special friend with whom we cannot frame the word ‘LOVE’. It’s really far above this…This is that relation, when one is anger while the other is ready to melt the anger in seconds. Friendship is that sweetest Nutella which can melt even those rigid mentalities in seconds. Friendship cannot be defined in one shade; it has many shades which cannot be worn in a single day. So, why to destroy it only for the sake of those stupid mentalities who cannot understand you? Leave those who cannot understand what your relation is all about…Just giving your space and time will make the things free. Have patience and simply lead on because such friends are hard to find!

PS: Boys do always forget birthdays!! Cheers!!
