  6. I have been reading some bad press about how the Nepalese are handling the situation. Nepal is a very big country and their population is spread out over vast mountainous regions, which makes relief efforts difficult. Given the situation, i'd like to let the western world know that this is not an easy task to handle.

  7. What is happening to the north of Kathmandu in the rural areas. This is the zone in which the peak ground accelerations are likely to have been highest, and it is also an area in which the houses are vulnerable (typically being constructed of weak materials) and most communities live on, or close to, slopes. These communities, which are remote at the best of times, may well have been very badly affected by the earthquake.

  8. Nature Strikes Again at Humans. Massive Earthquake in Nepal and some Parts of India has caused so much Devastation. Thousands have died in Nepal and the Death Toll is Increasing with Every Hour. Relief work has Started and India , as always has Stood with Nepal and Extending all Help to Nepal. RIP to the Victims of the Earthquake.

    1. Very True. Actually people should follow the engineering systems but it is human nature to follow the shortest and easy method. Hope people will start realising the truth of nature which is not in controll of anybody; so atleast start following the safe methods atleast to save themselves to some extent...

  9. As much as I detest Facebook, I really do have to ask everyone to please donate through them. They will match every donation made through them for Nepal dollar-for-dollar. I don't see Apple doing that! Please, folks. The smallest donation means a great deal to these suffering people in Nepal!.. Wilson

  18. Could there be anything scarier than being at Everst base camp, during an earthquake, followed by an avalanche, in darkness? Our prayers go out to all affected by the quake.
